Easy as A, B, C. (Airway, Breathing, Circulation)

Today we started off the morning with some lifeguard theory – from tides to patrol zones to the different types of rips, we got them all covered! After the theory we went on to learning all about C.P.R – que the mannequins. There was children called junior, women called Anne and one little baba! It was a bit iffy at first as everyone got used to the mannequins and listening for the click of a successful compression, but after the first few awkward moments and baby holding we were off and saved the entire family.

It was a great day – we all feel much more secure now in case we ever have to perform C.P.R! Also, there will be a treat in store for tomorrow which I’m sure the next blogger will be talking all about – it’s gonna be dead exciting. I can’t say anymore as Dickie is peering over my shoulder as I type saying it’s got to be a surprise!

That’s all for now, speak soon!
