AWW My Fingers

Today was our much anticipated full day of surfing. We knew it was going to be a good day too when Louise came late and the music on the bus were great. After our dance filled bus ride we arrived at rossnowlagh and started the morning session of surfing. The surf was pretty messy and very windy but still alright, and due to the extremely cold water and lack of gloves our fingers nearly froze off. Tim even had to resort to the frozen eagle instead of his trademark eagle.

For the afternoon session, we went to streetagh. We were hesitant about going there because we heard it might be flat. We were wrong, the surf was as good as it’s been since surfing with the course. It was fairly big and clean. Paddling out on a swelly was very difficult though and I was one of many to get knocked pretty hard by a few waves. Some people had unbelievable rides. It was one of the best sessions we’ve had and was a lot of fun.
